The Lakeland Regional Lancers were the 47-45 winner over the Passaic Valley Hornets when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Lakeland Regional took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Passaic Valley.
Lakeland Regional lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Pagan, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Pagan hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for four straight games. Justin Meakem was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Lakeland Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Passaic Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Lakeland Regional will head out on the road to square off against Sussex County Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Sussex County Tech's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Lakeland Regional has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Passaic Valley will take on Kennedy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
