After a string of three wins dating back to last season, Rolla HomeSchool's's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were dealt a 73-43 defeat at the hands of Mid-Missouri HomeSchool. Rolla HomeSchool lost against Mid-Missouri HomeSchool in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-31 score last time.
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aden Mansager led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Aulgur, who scored 12 points.
Rolla HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Rolla HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Maranatha Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st. Maranatha Baptist Academy and Rolla HomeSchool are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool and Agape Christian will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th at. Agape Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 641st in Illinois, while Mid-Missouri HomeSchool is ranked 19th in Missouri).
