Basketball Recap: Pretty Prairie Falls Despite Big Games from Eli Young and Owen Anderson

Pretty Prairie won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against the Otis-Bison Cougars, falling 77-52. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Pretty Prairie's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Owen Anderson, who posted nine points and five rebounds, and Eli Young, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points. Anderson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Evan W Young, who went 5 of 12 en route to 10 points.

Kelson Juno was a one-man wrecking crew for Otis-Bison as he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Louis Mcvey, who had 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pretty Prairie fell to 2-1. As for Otis-Bison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Pretty Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-60 win against Stafford on the 13th. As for Otis-Bison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-45 defeat against Cunningham on the 13th.
