It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Osbourn Park had no problem doing just that  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-2  victory over the North Stafford Wolverines. That's more bragging rights for Osbourn Park, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Samantha Borrayo made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). Borrayo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 16 consecutive pitching appearances. Borrayo was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jenna Wilson was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.  Cordia Hirschy was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 On North Stafford's side,  Abby Morris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run.
 Osbourn Park pushed their record up to 16-6 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for North Stafford,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-9.
 As of now, neither Osbourn Park nor North Stafford have any future games scheduled.
