Baseball Recap: Sage Creek Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Sage Creek's victory against Mission Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats never let the Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Hudson Jahries, who gave up just three hits to keep Mission Hills off the board. Jahries has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aiden Vogel was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Logan Rangel was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Sage Creek's record is now 12-8. As for Mission Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Grizzlies beat Sage Creek by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.
