The Broomfield Eagles stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 60-20 win over Legacy on the road. With Broomfield ahead 30-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Broomfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Turk out in front who scored 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Turk has scored all season. Olivia Kim was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Broomfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Legacy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Broomfield will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Rocky Mountain is ranked 34th, while Broomfield is ranked 37th). As for Legacy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boulder at 6:30 p.m.
