Eddie Murarik and Christian Moore provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Dixon. The longest such play in Mother Lode this season, the connection resulted in 79 yards.
Chad Testa of Bret Harte ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against Brookside Christian last week. Testa scampered for 70 yards on the play and finished with 216 on the day as his team lost to the Knights.
Zack Johnson threw for 105 yards and three touchdowns. He went eight-18 with one interceptions.
Brett Holladay was the best wideout in the league this week as Linden fell to the Rams. Holladay racked up one reception for 79 yards. Michael Titus helped Linden's passing attack out by catching three balls for 40 yards.
Calaveras's Johnson and Mike Seawell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mother Lode in both passing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 588 yards this season, while Seawell has 13 catches for 233 yards. The Lions' Andrew Lewis leads the league in rushing yards with 571.
Summerville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hughson, 35-34. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bears.
