Meanwhile, Old Town blew past Washington Academy, posting a 54-20 victory at home. Given Old Town's advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Washington Academy is ranked 82nd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Old Town, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
