On Friday, East Valley wasn't able to make up for their 34-14 defeat to West Valley when they last met October of last year. East Valley was completely outmatched, falling 55-6 to West Valley. East Valley's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it five in a row.
The loss dropped East Valley's record to 1-7. The victory makes it two in a row for West Valley and bumps their record up to 6-3.
The Knights have the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome Ephrata at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. East Valley is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight. As for West Valley, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
