Groton had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Jerica Locke did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sisseton Redmen thanks in part to Locke, who had 11 digs and one assist. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-21.

Groton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sisseton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Groton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Webster on the 9th. As for Sisseton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Redfield on the 11th.
