Lawrence Academy entered their tilt with Belmont Hill on Sunday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Sextants. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 back in April.
Laz Giardina was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.
Lawrence Academy pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs across that stretch. As for Belmont Hill, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.
