Considering the Blue Devils have won 11 matchups by more than eight  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Shore Regional is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Monmouth Regional, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-8.
 Monmouth Regional suffered a grim  16-10 defeat to Shore Regional  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
