The Clewiston Tigers came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Glades Day with a sharp 32-11 victory. Clewiston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clewiston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kalyn Johnson, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Milan Holomes was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.
Clewiston pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Glades Day, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clewiston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Glades Day, they will head out on the road to take on Lake Worth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
