3A Conference 30 recap October 22, 2013
Liberty scaled the state rankings by moving to 105 from 139 this week, the biggest jump in 3A Conference 30. The Minutemen climbed the ranks as a result of besting Buckingham 48-7.
Heritage added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Glass, 42-28. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Pioneers.
Tunstall's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Buckner threw for 192 and 2 touchdowns and Dustin Kuczinski had 43 yards receiving. On the ground Chase Scarce chipped in 53 yards. Teaun Carter helped Tunstall's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 48 yards.
He went 10-13 with 2 interceptions.
Kuczinski was the best wideout in the league this week as the Trojans bested Bassett. Kuczinski tallied 2 receptions for 43 yards. Carter helped Tunstall's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 48 yards.
Tunstall's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Buckner has thrown for 775 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Brad Hylton has 11 catches for 197 yards.
The top two teams in 3A Conference 30 will face off this week when first place Heritage takes on second place Liberty.

The Minutemen led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Knights.
