They really took it to Ocean County Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-34 victory at home. With Bethel Baptist Academy ahead 44-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Bethel Baptist Academy to victory were Bobby Konstantinidis and Zahyir Davis. Konstantinidis scored 18 points along with 6 steals, while Davis dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Pennachietti, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
Bethel Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Ocean County Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel Baptist Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ocean County Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
