Castle extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-1. They skirted past the Evansville Reitz Panthers 28-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted against the Panthers since September 2, 2016.
Castle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Bobe led the charge by picking up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Bobe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Boden Morgan, who threw for 175 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.
As for Evansville Reitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. They gained 129 more yards on the day, but it was Castle that made the best use of them.
Despite the loss, Evansville Reitz still got an impressive performance from Amyr Wilford, who rushed for 235 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Wilford showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
