Point Pleasant came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Buffalo, but Asher Flanery wouldn't allow it. The Buffalo Bison walked away with a 69-60 win over the Point Pleasant Big Blacks on Tuesday thanks to Flanery, who went 7-for-13 en route to 20 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

Braxton Mitchell was another key player, going 6-for-8 on his way to 13 points. What's more, he also posted a 75% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Point Pleasant's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Barton, who went 10-for-18 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carrsen Lambert, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and five boards.

Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Point Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Buffalo will venture away from home to square off against Scott at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scott is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Point Pleasant, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. Point Pleasant is facing Lincoln County at the right time seeing as Lincoln County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
