It was another big night for Raina McGowens, who scored 26 points along with seven assists and four steals for Wren. McGowens continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Randolph, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Christ Church Episcopal's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Wren, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Christ Church Episcopal will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brashier Middle College Charter at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Brashier Middle College Charter is ranked 167th, while Christ Church Episcopal is ranked 175th). As for Wren, they will head out on the road to challenge Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
