The biggest upset of the week belonged to Windber, who took down 382nd ranked Windber, 36-28.
Nash Walker and Tyler DeArmitt provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Conemaugh Township. The longest such play in Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] this season, the connection resulted in 69 yards.
The Ramblers' dynamic duo of Devon Tomlinson and Matt Barkley proved tough for Meyersdale to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tomlinson threw for 255 yards and 4 touchdowns and Barkley had 115 yards receiving. Dan Tomlinson helped Windber's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 115 yards.
Windber's dynamic duo of Tomlinson and Barkley proved to be unstoppable against the Red Raiders, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Tomlinson put up the best numbers through the air as Matt Grohal's team fell to Meyersdale.
Barkley was the best receiver in the league this week as the Ramblers lost to Chris Schrock's team.
Braden Fochtman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Berlin Brothersvalley bested Portage. Fochtman's key target this week was DeArmitt, who caught 2 passes for 75 yards.
Shane Supanik made the biggest impact on defense this week as North Star bested Ferndale. The 6-foot-3 senior grabbed 2.0 sacks.
Fochtman was a beast in the backfield as the Mountaineers defeated the Mustangs.
He went 15-29 with 3 interceptions.
Fochtman was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 352 yards on 29 carries as Berlin Brothersvalley fell to the Red Raiders. Teammate Collin Belcher added to the ground attack by rushing for 11 yards.
The Ramblers' Tomlinson and Tomlinson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Tomlinson has thrown for 360 yards this season, while Tomlinson has 12 catches for 168 yards. Doug Paul's team's Fochtman leads the league in rushing yards with 506.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Portage takes on Shade. As it stands, Gary Gouse's team is in fifth, while the Panthers are in fourth.
The Mountaineers were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in the league. Berlin Brothersvalley defeated the Mustangs 28-14 earlier in the week.
