Everything went their way against the Columbine Rebels on Friday as they made off with a 35-12 win. Considering the Mustangs have won eight games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ralston Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zeke Andrews, who rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 136 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes. Levi Rillos was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ralston Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
