Kennedy is 2-8 against Irvington since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Last Thursday, Kennedy was able to grind out a solid win over Mission San Jose, taking the game 75-65.
Irvington can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against American by a score of 58-51. The victory was just what Irvington needed coming off of a 100-66 loss in their prior contest.
Kennedy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Irvington, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.
