After two weeks on the road, Mourning is heading back home. On Thursday they will take on Miami Springs at 3:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Mourning, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
After soaring to 54 points the game before, Mourning faltered in their match last Friday. They took a serious blow against Mater Academy Charter last Friday, falling 6-57.
Meanwhile, Miami Springs put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Westland Hialeah as the team secured a 45-8 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Miami Springs' flat performance the contest before.
