This season hasn't been kind to the Potomac Wolverines, who are still winless after their 12th match. They were beaten by Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South 58-16 on Tuesday. Potomac was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.
Jaedyn Mcdaniel had a dynamite game for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, scoring 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcdaniel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Amaya Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Potomac's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Potomac will head out on the road to face off against the Clippers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Oxon Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wolverines in Maryland (the Clippers are ranked 60th, while the Wolverines are ranked 274th). As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
