The third road contest was the charm for the Fremont Silverwolves, as they earned their first road win of the season. They were the clear victor by a 46-22 margin over Jordan. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Fremont has managed all season.
Ama Herrick was the offensive standout of the game as she scored eight points. Avary Post was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Jordan's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Tess Joseph and Tess Jacobson. Joseph scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals, while Jacobson scored seven points. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her.
The victory got Fremont back to even at 3-3. As for Jordan, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont and Morgan will face off at 5:15 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Morgan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Jordan, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on West at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. West presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jordan in Utah (West is ranked 27th, while Jordan is ranked 102nd).
