The Aquilla Cougars will head out on the road to challenge Mount Calm at 7:00 p.m. Mount Calm took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Aquilla, who comes in off a win.
Aquilla scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Cranfills Gap at home to the tune of 85-50. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Aquilla as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Mount Calm's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a rough 52-32 loss at the hands of Gholson.
Aquilla's win bumped their record up to 13-18. As for Mount Calm, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Aquilla beat Mount Calm 57-48 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquilla since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
