The Springfield Senators will be playing at home against the Metro-East Lutheran Knights at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Springfield is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Springfield was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Decatur Eisenhower.
Meanwhile, Metro-East Lutheran came up short against Southwestern on Saturday and fell 49-39.
Springfield bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Metro-East Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-11.
