The Hardin Valley Academy Hawks can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 63-58 win over William Blount. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, William Blount still got an impressive performance from Caden Windle, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Windle is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Trevor Scarlett was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Hardin Valley Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for William Blount, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bearden the next time they take the court. William Blount will head out to face Bearden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Hardin Valley Academy will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
