Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 4 this week, Midfield beat Tarrant 28-4. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Montevallo fell to Leeds 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Trinity Presbyterian's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Jones threw for 148 and 2 touchdowns and Robert Adams had 130 yards receiving. On the ground Griffin Slater contributed 87 yards. Chris Hynniman helped Trinity Presbyterian's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 48 yards.
Slater was a passing and rushing force as the Wildcats bested Central of Coosa County. He completed 7 passes for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 87 yards. Slater's key target this week was Adams, who caught 4 passes for 130 yards.
Dalton White was a key player and the best on defense this week as Trinity Presbyterian topped the Cougars. The 6-foot-1 senior forced 1 fumble.
