Despite the defeat, Hurricane saw an underclassman step up: Carson O'Dell scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Von Mills, who scored six points along with two blocks.
Huntington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Hurricane, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Huntington will head out on the road to challenge the Flying Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Woodrow Wilson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests. As for Hurricane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Hill will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
