Chambers/Wheeler Central's game  last Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   37-24  win over the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Renegades as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Chambers/Wheeler Central got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ella Moses out in front who  posted 17 points in addition to six  boards and four  steals. Another player making a difference was  Paige Wolinski, who  earned 12  points and seven  rebounds.

 Chambers/Wheeler Central  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 20  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.
 Despite the loss, Newman Grove/St. Edward still got an impressive performance from   Kailey Patzel, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 20  boards. Patzel is  crushing it when it comes to  rebounds: she's   pulled down at least nine every time she's  taken the court this season.
The  victory  got Chambers/Wheeler Central back to even at 9-9. As for Newman Grove/St. Edward, their defeat was  their eighth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-16.
 Chambers/Wheeler Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  65-34  loss against Elgin/Pope John on the 1st. As for Newman Grove/St. Edward, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Riverside  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
