When it comes to explaining why Cocoa Beach lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jay Matthews. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Max Louis was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Cocoa, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Cocoa Beach will head out on the road to face off against Eau Gallie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eau Gallie has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Cocoa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Charter School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
