The Empire Ravens will square off against the Cienega Bobcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Empire's offense hasn't  had much luck over their past three  games, but Friday's   matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Cienega). They claimed a resounding  65-17 win over Desert View. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
 Cienega's win came from a few key players Empire will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Rane Bennett, who  went 8 of 15  on her way to 16 points and three  steals. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  points. Another player making a difference was  Amaya Woolford, who  posted six points along with seven  blocks and five  boards.
 Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Cienega, their  win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-10.
