They put the hurt on Fairbury with a sharp 41-16 victory on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Tri County sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Tri County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caden Bales, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Bales' third in a row with at least ten points. Drew Siems was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Tri County pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Fairbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Tri County will be playing in front of their home fans against Freeman at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairbury, they will head out on the road to face off against Wilber-Clatonia at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
