Rockwood is 8-2 against the Green Wave since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Rockwood Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Midway Green Wave at 8:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Rockwood's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Green Wave have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Rockwood didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Bobcats, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory.
It was another big night for Ty'varion Pryor, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Alexander Norton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Sunbright scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Midway still came out on top. Midway took their game against the Tigers 68-55.
Rockwood has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Midway, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
Rockwood didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Green Wave when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 60-55 win.
