North Iowa had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will challenge Don Bosco on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. North Iowa are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Things haven't been easy for North Iowa, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They have to be aching after a bruising 20-54 defeat to Riceville.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing zero points in their last match, Don Bosco made sure to put some points up on the board against Dunkerton. Don Bosco put a hurting on Dunkerton to the tune of 66-6. Followers of Don Bosco probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Don Bosco's victory lifted them to 6-1 while North Iowa's loss dropped them down to 1-6. Don Bosco have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 55.71 points per game. We'll see if North Iowa can find some way to disarm them.
