Freeman is 9-1 against the Cardinals since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Freeman Scotties will head out on the road to challenge the Medical Lake Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Freeman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Freeman ended up a good deal behind the Cardinals and lost 43-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Freeman has scored all season.
Freeman's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Logan Pecht, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three blocks, and Taylee Phelps who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 48.3% of Freeman's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Freeman dropped their record down to 10-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Medical Lake, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Freeman ended up a good deal behind the Cardinals when the teams last played on Tuesday, losing 43-29. Can Freeman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
