Cherokee Bluff lost to Chestatee back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bears came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cherokee Bluff took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12.

Brooklyn Knight paced Cherokee Bluff's offense, picking up seven kills. Knight got some help from Kailyn Williams and her nine assists. Josephine Lundy controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cherokee Bluff's record is now 9-4. As for Chestatee, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Cherokee Bluff will challenge McDonough at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chestatee, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against White County on the 26th.
