Wilson extended the longest winning streak in Lancaster-Lebanon 1 this week by beating Warwick, 28-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Penn Manor took down Cedar Crest 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Manheim Township's dynamic duo of Brennan Scott and Ryan Morgan proved tough for Hempfield to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Scott threw for 53 yards and one touchdown and Morgan had 34 yards receiving. Tyler Karpinski helped Manheim Township's passing attack out by catching two balls for 19 yards.
Roman Clay was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 209 yards on 26 carries as Lancaster Catholic defeated the Black Knights. Teammate Nassir Weaver added to the ground attack by rushing for 114 yards.
Manheim Township's Scott and Karpinski have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Scott has thrown for 1836 yards this season, while Karpinski, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 61 catches for 976 yards. The Crusaders' Clay leads the league in rushing yards with 1978.
Mark Evans' team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,138 from 2,363. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 41-14 victory over Hempfield last week.
