Morrisville-Eaton extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Mason Marland. The Mavericks blew past the Bishop Grimes Cobras 44-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Marland, who rushed for 115 yards and two TDs, and also caught one score. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
One reason for the win was Morrisville-Eaton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Lewis Joslyn was especially locked on to Bishop Grimes' QB and sacked him three times. Gavin Baker was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making 12 total tackles.
Morrisville-Eaton now has a winning record of 3-2.
