Aldine came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Spring, but Tadarius Wade wouldn't allow it. The Spring Lions strolled past the Aldine Mustangs with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 59-42 thanks in part to Wade, who went 12 of 19 on his way to 29 points along with seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Aldine lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jorge Castro, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points. Joshua Green was another key player, going 6 of 15 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds.

Spring is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game.
