Make it 15 blowout wins for the MacArthur Brahmas this season. They blew past Lanier 79-21 at home on Friday. Winning may never get old, but MacArthur sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Lyah Neira was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Lee, who scored 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
MacArthur is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 23-11 record this season. As for Lanier, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-26.
MacArthur will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burbank is on a ten-game streak of home wins, the Brahmas a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Lanier will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brackenridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
