2A Greater St. Helens recap October 1, 2013
Long added to the longest winning streak in 2A Greater St. Helens this week by beating Fort Vancouver, 42-13. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Long led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Trappers.
Ridgefield's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Spudders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Martin has thrown for 289 yards this season, while Tyler Adams has 10 catches for 114 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Long takes on second place Washougal.
Two of the top units in 2A Greater St. Helens will face off this week when Ridgefield takes on Hockinson. The Spudders' offense has racked up 36 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Hawks have allowed only 24 on the year.
