The Hardee Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Meade. Hardee has not had much luck with Fort Meade recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Meade to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Screen, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Omari Russell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Hardee has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Fort Meade, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
