The Lifegate Christian Falcons stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sunnybrook Christian 54-18 at home. Winning may never get old, but Lifegate Christian sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Leading Lifegate Christian to victory were Elena Mendez and Anelyna Cavazos. Mendez scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Cavazos dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Mendez is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Hailee Lipsey was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight steals.
Lifegate Christian's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.6 points. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Lifegate Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-26 win vs. Tribe W on the 9th. Sunnybrook Christian has also already played their next matchup, a 53-12 defeat against Founders Classical Academy on the 8th.
