Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fivay). They claimed a resounding 74-9 win over the Hudson Cobras. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 33 points or more this season.

Fivay's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaziah Merritt, who posted seven points along with nine steals and five assists. Those nine steals gave Merritt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordana Montaner Rodgers, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points and four steals.

Fivay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

Fivay's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Hudson, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fivay will venture away from home to challenge Anclote at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they will head out on the road to square off against Nature Coast Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
