Everything went Harker's way against Washington on Friday as they made off with a 40-6 win. Harker was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Harker's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 19 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Washington couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 19-0 heading into the break. The offense for Harker continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 21 points. The game evens up both teams records, with they at 1-1 and Washington at 0-0.
Harker will look to defend their home turf next week against Marina at 7:00 PM. Washington are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against California School for the Deaf next week at 7:00 PM.
