The Blanchester Wildcats fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 84-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that Blanchester has lost by exactly ten points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Felicity-Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Ninichuck , who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jordan Blevins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Blanchester and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Felicity-Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
