Football Recap: Azle Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Christian Heritage

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Azle Christian walked away with it. They blew past the Christian Heritage Sentinels 77-57 on Friday. The Fighting Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Azle Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grayson Smith, who picked up 224 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. With that strong performance, Smith is now averaging an impressive 106.5 receiving yards per game. Nemo Crowell was another key player, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries.
