Winfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaitlyn Sayre, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Sayre scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Savannah Willard, who scored 18 points.
When it comes to explaining why Hurricane lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alexandra Andrerson. Despite the final result, she scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Quijano, who scored ten points.
