The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lincoln, who took down 421st ranked Colfax, 28-20. Davis Dykstra ran for 136 yards in the win.
The Fighting Zebras moved up to 450 from 509 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Pioneer Valley. Lincoln climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Falcons 28-20.
Kris Edie made the biggest impact on defense this week as Bear River defeated Foothill. The 6-foot-1 junior grabbed one interception and recorded one fumble.
Michael Wilson threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns. He was 21-32 with two interceptions.
Tevyn Kimble was the best wideout in the league this week as the Bruins bested the Mustangs. Kimble tallied six receptions for 106 yards. Michael Raigoza helped Bear River's passing attack out by catching one ball for 38 yards.
Isaac Brahce was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 171 yards as Placer defeated Foothill. Todd Valliere also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.
Colfax's Wilson and Kyle Bryant have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Pioneer Valley in both passing and receiving yards. Wilson has thrown for 2803 yards this season, while Bryant has 66 catches for 1105 yards. James Hubbard from Ken Lowe's team leads the league in rushing with 1058 yards.
The Hillmen extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Center, 15-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the Placer.
